Hi:

I've downloaded 20190531_OpenCertCHESSClient_Win_x64.zip and tried to run it in Linux (using Wine) and Windows 8 with no success. Always 64 bits.

I've installed Java environment (64 bits too) at amass_P2/jre/. I can launch eclipse, choose a workspace but then it stops.

The error log is appended to this post.

I suppose it's a problem of Eclipse plugins OSGi configuration but the amass_P2/configuration/config.ini file is more complex than I can manage.

What can I be doing wrong? I looked for configuration but can't find documentation.

Thanks in advance.

Stefano Puri suggested to try with Java v8. My tests were with OpenJDK 12. So tried v8 and definitely it works, both in Windows 8 and Wine.

For the record: OpenJDK 9 doesn't work too.

For the record:

I tested in a Windows 10 Pro system and couldn't run the tool neither with jre-8u201-windows-x64.exe or jre-8u211-windows-x64.exe.

In my test with Windows 8.1 the 8u201-windows-x64.exe version worked fine. No idea what the cause can be.
